Provision of the website
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you access the site, Hetzner processes the connection data required to deliver and securely operate it on our behalf. Server logs may record, in particular, the requested domain and file, date and time, browser and operating-system details, referrer, transferred data volume, status code and an IP address anonymised by Hetzner.
Processing is necessary to provide the website and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and error-free operation of the website. Server logs are deleted after seven days. Hetzner operates the web hosting in Germany.
Contact by email or phone
If you contact us, we process your contact details, the content of your message and the associated communication data to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a booking or other pre-contractual or contractual measures; for other enquiries it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to respond appropriately to your enquiry.
Emails are processed using Microsoft 365 from Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, as well as Hetzner mail infrastructure. For calls, the telecommunications providers involved process the necessary connection data; telephone calls are not recorded. We delete non-contractual enquiries once they have been dealt with unless statutory retention duties apply. Business and tax-related records are retained for the applicable statutory period.
Processing by Microsoft outside the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out completely. Where required, it is based on an adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR or appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR.
Google Maps
The embedded map remains blocked until you select “Load Google Maps”. Only then is a connection made to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may process, in particular, your IP address, device and browser details, referrer and usage data and—depending on your settings—location data, and may use its own cookies or similar storage technologies. If you are signed in to Google, Google may associate the use with your account.
Processing and access to your device are based solely on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage as “ahr-map-consent” for six months and is not transmitted to us. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future using “Withdraw Maps consent” in the footer. You can delete data already stored by Google through your browser or Google account settings.
Google is independently responsible for its subsequent processing and may transfer data to the United States or other third countries. According to Google, it relies on applicable adequacy decisions, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Google’s retention period depends on the type of data and your Google settings.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, or another competent data protection authority.
Required information
Technical connection data is required to access the website. Information provided when contacting us is voluntary; without the information needed to deal with your request, we may be unable to answer it or process a booking. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
